Meet Francis Steeno
Francis C. Steeno is a multifaceted musician, composer, and creative professional with over four decades of experience in music performance and production. Born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, his musical foundation began with piano in second grade, followed by saxophone and comprehensive collegiate training and artistic focus on classical, pop, jazz, country, and avant-garde styles.
Since 1973, Steeno has maintained an active presence as a live performer across North America, Canada, Norway, Europe, and a pianobar on a cruise ship. Since 2006, he has shared his expertise as a private piano instructor, teaching over one hundred students while continuing his performance and production work. His observations of how music education transforms children's cognitive abilities and academic performance inspired his upcoming book, The Piano Edge.
In 2014, Steeno established Steeno Studios in Grafton, Wisconsin, specializing in original musical compositions, sound design, and multimedia video production, with access to extensive professional sample libraries for world-class production quality.
New Book
With a longstanding interest in creative writing, Steeno embarked on his first book project in August 2025. His debut book,
"The Piano Edge: How Music Transforms Your Child's Future Success,"
combines years of music expertise with his passion for written communication and is expected to be published in early 2026.
